We are an established, family run livery yard located on Springhouse Farm, situated between Sadberge and Middleton St George. We have 200 acres of beautiful farmland with off-road riding and optional jumps, and we hire our ‘Off Road Riding Out’ from Spring to early Autumn. We also hire out our schools.

Stables
We have four stable blocks with indoor and outdoor stables, the smallest being 12 by 12 and the largest 18 by 12.
All Year Turn Out
We offer all year unrestricted turn out in individual or shared paddocks with electric fencing. Our large fields for the winter can be reduced in size if required and we will roll, harrow and top paddocks as needed. No matter what, we will always aim to cater to the needs of every individual horse.
Off-Road Riding
We offer 200 acres of ‘off-road riding’ on maintained (mainly grass) tracks across beautiful farmland without any gates. There is a wide range of optional jumps from 20cm to 90cm, and we aim to cater for a wide range of riders. Liveries get unlimited use of our ‘off-road riding’ all year.

A family ran business
Derek Hill established the livery in 1998 and more recently his son, Michael Hill, has taken over the running of both the livery and the farm. We aim to make life as easy as possible with flowing stocks and systems in place that enable an efficient service and a friendly environment for you to enjoy with your horse or pony.
The Hill family lives on site and are on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We have experienced staff that look after our liveries and carry out any extras that may be required (additional charges apply), and we organise instructors to carry out liveries-only clinics, have outdoor jumping courses in the winter and a jumping field in summer.
